Logo created for KiGula, a Brazilian culinary business in Japan. Following the initial idea suggested by the client, the logo was created based on the kokeshi doll, dressing it up as a cook.
For its design, irregular lines were used to give it a drawing-like appearance and pastel tones were applied to a large part of the doll. The colors used were neutral tones, a whitish gray.
In the typography, the colors needed to be stronger to be visible and not affect its readability. The combination of yellow and red colors help to awaken the appetite, and the typography becomes the most appropriate part to apply them because it is a more visible area.
For the logo font, I thought of a rounded typography that would be friendly.
