Logo created for Water Classic, a surfboard brand. The logo was not yet approved, but because I really liked the result, I decided to publish it here in the portfolio.

For the client, it was important to maintain the original logo's droplets. However, to better utilize the water droplet symbol in the current logo, they were vectorized and lightened for better visibility. A halftone effect was used, which applies the appearance of a printing method that simulates the continuous tones of an image, to maintain the logo's gradients. The droplets were then used to create the logo options.

Option 1

The logo resembles the original logo, the difference is that this option applies the drops inside a surfboard shape, an obvious reference to the company's field of activity.

Initially, the central part of the board defines its shape, but the entire black part forms the junction of the letters W and C, the initials of the brand name.

The chosen typography aims to be simple and modern for better readability. The italics in the typography represent the movement and agility of surfing.

Logo usage examples

Option 2

Another logo option that was suggested is the application of droplets within droplet shapes, referring to the water in the brand name, moving away from the traditional use of waves in symbols.

Inside the larger vectorized droplet, a discreet surfboard silhouette was inserted as if it were stuck in the sand, to give the impression of a beach landscape.

The typography follows the style of the black outlines of the three droplets, adopting modern lines, but with a more classic and elegant feel.
